An easy Halloween appetizer
These cute little pumpkins are actually cheese balls covered in various spices. Here’s what you need to make them:
- 2 packages of cream cheese
- 300 g grated cheddar cheese
- 30 g of finely chopped roasted red pepper
- 3 green onions – finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nachos, paprika and black sesame seeds
Preparation : Mix all the ingredients well (except the last nachos, paprika and sesame) and refrigerate for about an hour. Meanwhile, peel the nachos and place them on a small plate. Do the same with paprika and sesame seeds. Using a spoon, make small balls with the cheese mixture and roll them in various spices. Finally, use a wooden skewer to make marks on the sides and top of each ball for a pumpkin look. Place half a pretzel stick in the center of each mini cheese ball, then garnish with a small parsley leaf.

Since our goal here is to make a quick and easy Halloween menu, we don’t expect you to make the dough. Also, Halloween falls on a Monday this year, so we don’t have much preparation time. In this case, mini pizza is a great solution. To make them, take pizza dough from the supermarket. You can also use slices of bread, tarte flambée or puff pastry.
Then add tomato sauce and decorate with the products in the fridge. You can use different cheeses cut in the form of ghosts or use vegetables such as peppers, cucumbers, olives, carrots. The latter should be grilled first because it takes longer to soften.

Besides being super disgusting, these cookies are also a healthy alternative to chocolate chip cookies. To prepare them, you will need the following ingredients:
- 250 g of boiled or canned chickpeas
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 60 g of maple syrup
- 120 g of peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- 70 g of rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Green food coloring and candy eyes for decoration
Preparation : Place all ingredients except the candy eyes and food coloring in your food processor and blend until smooth. Then add 25-30 drops of green food coloring and stir a few times to mix everything together. You can use any color, I was just inspired by Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc.
Now take a spoon and form the cakes. You will receive approximately 26 cookies. Then, with slightly wet hands, press the cookies into a round shape. Bake for 16-18 minutes, then remove from the oven and gently press the candy eyes into your cookies while they are still warm.
