ingredients :

  • 100 g of poppy seeds
  • 300-350 g of sifted wheat flour
  • 12 g baking yeast
  • 150 g of pork fat
  • 2 onions
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, pepper, sugar

steps :

Mix poppy seeds, flour and baking powder by hand, add lard. The mixture should be granular.

Peel and chop the onion. Add a little salt, sugar and pepper to the dough, together with the egg.

Knead the dough. It should be thick and sticky. Keep the dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Heat the oven to 190-200°C. Roll out the dough and cut it into different shapes: round, diamond or square.

Place everything on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-35 minutes.
