Autumn is finally here, it’s time for cozy breaks to savor it and delight our taste buds in the cool and rainy weather. So what could be better than good cookies with a cup of homemade hot chocolate?
These little hedgehog shaped cookies are super delicious and super easy to make at home. You can flavor the dough with vanilla powder, lemon or orange peel. Put on your aprons, we’re going to the kitchen!

15 for a cake

– 120 g soft butter
– 90 grams of sugar
– 20 g of almond powder
– 250 g of flour
– 1 package of dry yeast
– 1 egg
– 50 g of dark chocolate
– 50 g of milk chocolate
– 12 chocolate chips
– 40 g of chocolate vermicelli
– sugar eyes (optional)

1. Beat butter with sugar, then add ground almonds.

2. When the mass becomes homogeneous, add eggs and flour.

3. Mix the paste until a uniform texture is obtained. Form into a ball and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

4. Make balls of identical size and give them a pear shape to form the body of the hedgehogs. Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C.

5. When the cookies have cooled down, melt the chocolates in bain-marie. Dip half of the cookies in the melted chocolate, then in the vermicelli so that they stick together.

6. Place the biscuits on baking paper. Draw the nose and eyes of the hedgehogs with a toothpick dipped in melted chocolate. You can also attach sugar eyes to the hedgehogs.

7. Once the chocolate has hardened, store the biscuits in a tin (if you don’t eat them all first!).
