Chocolate Fair in Canet-en-Roussillon: talented chocolatiers with big hearts

The public responded in large numbers to the 5th edition of the Chocolate Fair held recently at Les Voiles Rouges. Up to forty exhibitors offered chocolate in all its forms, but also other local products such as biscuits, rusk, jam, ginger, pus, salt, cheese, oil, wine, beer, etc.

Children were able to go to a learning workshop and make their own chocolate creations with the help of facilitators.

This show is also an exhibition of the sector of chocolate and confectionery. Artisans from the Brotherhood of Catalan Chocolate Makers attended to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity and why not encourage the professions for the work that is employment.

The Chamber of Commerce and Commerce Campus were also present with students and teachers to present the courses of study from CAP to Bac + 2.

Another feature of the show is the reservation of a portion of the proceeds for a charitable association. This year, it was the Artichoke teams who left with a check for 1,500 euros. The Villelongue-de-la-Salanque association has organized ten concerts every year for 18 years, in which professional artists perform on a voluntary basis. Proceeds from each concert are donated to national or local causes.
