Cut the pumpkin into pieces about 1.5 cm thick without removing the skin.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (chapter 6).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or pour a little water if you don’t want to use paper.
Place the butternut squash slices on a baking sheet. Sprinkle them with garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper. Drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil.
Bake for 30 minutes. Check for doneness with the tip of a knife.
Take the pumpkin slices out of the oven and enjoy!
Nut skin is edible. So you can choose to eat it or remove it during the tasting.
Offer a meal : Cut 2 large potatoes in half lengthwise and cook them together with pieces of pumpkin. The potatoes may take a little longer to cook, so bake them 10 minutes before the butternut squash. Also, before cooking, pour olive oil on the potatoes so that they do not dry out too much. Season them to your taste. While cooking, prepare the curry sauce. When the pumpkin and potatoes are cooked, plate half a potato, a little curry sauce, a slice of pumpkin, a few pumpkin seeds, and a handful of washed and drained arugula.
